Hiring the Right Attorney

Consulting with an attorney as soon as possible after your injury is essential. In the State of New York, you may have as few as 30 days after your injury to file paperwork to recover for your loss. Your first step should be choosing an experienced attorney to ensure timely access to the legal system and to help you receive compensation for your medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

It is important to ask questions about an attorney’s legal practice before hiring them to represent you. To learn about their qualifications, it will benefit you to inquire about the following key factors:

  • How long the firm has been in practice
  • What portion of the attorney’s practice is devoted to complex personal injury matters
  • Whether anyone in the law firm defends the negligent
  • The firm’s history of results

For nearly three decades, Bottar Leone, PLLC has defended personal injury victims and is dedicated to securing recoveries for clients who have been involved in tragic accidents and suffered harm due to the negligence of another person. We have a long track record of successfully helping clients in Cortland and throughout the State of New York. Our firm focuses its practice solely on one practice area, which enables us to provide exceptional service to clients with very specific problems.
