Mr. Ryder’s practice is limited to the trial of medical malpractice, wrongful death, product liability and catastrophic personal injury matters, with a focus on misdiagnosis, surgical errors and nursing home negligence.  He also has experience litigating civil rights, toxic tort, professional malpractice, real estate, construction and commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Ryder is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.  He is also a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, as well as the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association.

He is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, United States District Court for the Western District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Prior to joining Bottar Leone, PLLC, Mr. Ryder was an associate in the Litigation department of the Syracuse office of Bond Schoeneck & King PLLC, and an associate in the Torts & Products Liability department of the Syracuse office of Hiscock & Barclay LLP.

Mr. Ryder resides in Camillus with his wife, Kristin, and their two children.
